Sign a Petition for Safe, Toxic-Free Toys!

The toy manufacturers below are the largest in the country. Please send them a message that kids' toys should be safe for kids! Sign our petition below.

Dear CEOs of Mattel, Hasbro, Jakks, RC2, Wal-mart, Target, KMart, Toys R Us, and KB Toys,

As the largest toy companies and toy retailers in the world, we are calling on you to protect children from toxic chemicals in their toys. One way to publicly establish your commitment to safe toys is to agree to immediately begin reformulating children's products to eliminate high hazard chemicals like lead, cadmium, arsenic, PBDE's  and mercury, or to sell only toys that have eliminated chemicals of concern.  We are also urging you to sign the Guiding Principles for Chemicals Policy articulated by the Business NGO Working Group to demonstrate your commitment to continuous improvement: http://www.busngoworkgroup.org/ 

Manufacturers of children's products and the retailers that sell them have a responsibility to ensure that your products are safe for kids, and safe for the workers that make them. We urge you to implement  a comprehensive chemicals policy and to publicly report on your progress to provide safe products for all customers.  Thank you in advance for your leadership in making products safe for kids, families and workers.
